Last Saturday we brought Faheem to KLCC Park. Actually papa keeps on thinking when to renew our driving license that will expires in mid July when suddenly PejabatPosKLCC (that opens on weekends) gets into his mind. So he suggested to go to KLCC since we may bring Faheem to the open park too. The park consists of a swimming pool, playground, fountains and huge green area for joggers. The playground itself is 3 times bigger than the one at our residence and I'm sure Faheem will love that to bits!
That little guy just can't witness anything that preserve water. Like seriously. We just got him out from the stroller and he ran to the fountain pool in a blink of an eye! Lucky that papa was faster and managed to catch him by then. Phew..
That is the swimming pool (for kids) that opens for public every single day. We make sure Faheem will never get a sight of this place or he'll begin to un-wear all of his clothes and started screaming "andiiii!"
Upon arriving we went to KFC to get the KFC Snack Pack. Initially I was planning to cook bihungoreng with keropok etc and we're gonna have some sort of family picnic near the playground. Tapisemuaituhanyalahimpiansemata2. I'm not in the mood to do anything in the kitchen that day since the little guy keeps on following me every now and then. Further more, his 'brilliancy' is giving me worries!
Well, he pushed the breakfast chair near the kitchen cabinet, climbed it (mind you the stool is just a small one) standing high and innocently pressing every buttons on the microwave oven! I was screaming my heart out witnessing that horrifying scene. It's not the pressing-button that scares me, but the fact that he was standing on the breakfast stool all by himself? I can't imagine if he's fallen from it. Nauzubillah..
So no fancy meals from home that day. TapauKFCsudah..
Dear Faheem loves drinking plain water through my Eco Tupperware bottle. But he's not drinking from the bottle itself, he prefers having it via the bottle cap instead. How cute is that? Hehe

Happily playing with the swing.. The one at our residence is a norm one, doesn't complete with this kind of seating with back support so we need to push the swing really carefully. Definitely Faheem loves this one at KLCC Park! We pushed him way higher than what he has experienced before! =)
When Faheem began to sweat all over his body we decided to have a brisk walk around the park heading to the KL Convention Centre as hubby's planning to dine in at Kenny Rogers Roasters. There was quite a crowd since there's a GLC exhibition going on that weekend. But it was almost dawn and people were walking away from the place. Great timing! We had a quarter of black pepper chicken with mashed potato, baked beans and coleslaw..
And also this, chicken macaroni cheese. Surprisingly Faheem loves the cheesy macaroni! He ate a lot of them. With chicken nuggets and fun fries from KFC. How reviving.. No need to force him having his nasi with vegetables soup that day. Heheheh. We rushed back home once Faheem was done with his meal.
After all, it was such an overjoyed episode at KLCC Park, spent with my loved ones. The finest part was definitely when Faheem ate plenty of the food that we were serving him and the not so good part was when I realized the waiter forgotten to bring us the vanilla muffin I ordered just when I stepped in to the car! Duh..

I have just posted a few baits of How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria's lyric on my Facebook page few months back. And now they are coming to KL for real!
The production crew is of course created from a new and fresh line of casts (the original casts are in their 60s now, thanks to Oprah for bringing them in her show!) but the songs and movie plot would be the same as many years back. Ah.. How I miss the Von Trapp's family and Maria of course! (I mean before she's accidentally falling in love with the oh-so-tough and man-ly and good looking captain).
How do I get to know this musical film? Well this happens almost 20 years back when I was still in my primary years, standard 4 if I'm not mistaken. Beloved mama went to KL attending a course and mommies will never forget to get presents for her kids whenever they are away right? So that was one of the presents we get that day - a video tape of The Sound of Music!
And I memorized almost 90% of the lyrics until now, at the age of 28 and a mommy of a handsome boy too =p I went searching for the CD and DVD of the track when I was at the university, unfortunately to no avail. There's another movie titled 8Femmes, a french movie. I'm struggling my heart and soul searching for the original DVD copies in every malls that I went to but I have found none. Sigh..
Another event to spice up the story: I was surprised knowing that there were many DVD outlets at Bali (during our honeymoon trip) that provide hundreds of gile-murah and vividly clear DVDs and Blu-Ray discs but I just can't find them! But I was lucky enough when hubby has been transferred to Ho Chi Minh city last year and he found a DVD shop that was selling Blu-Ray disc of The Sound of Music for only a few ringgit! Takkesah la oriketak yang penting it's Blu-ray,gambacantik habes and complete with English subtitles! Haha
Back to the musical, yup.. The crew is performing that great musical of all time for this whole week until the weekend. Initially I was so excited to witness by my self, my all time favorite musical by hook or by crook. But I'm lying hopeless once I look at the ticket prices. It was beyond humanity la. Seriousmahalgile. Anyone can afford it but it was too pricey for a 2 and a half hour's show! I know it's an international thingy but ahh.. Mahal! The cheapest is RM193 and I'm sure all I can see on the stage is only bulky human figures. Bluergh..

The most strategic seating of all priced at RM590 per person *fainted. But there's a 25% discounted price for people purchasing the tickets via RHB credit card, and we are not an RHB customers. I have always keen to prepare meals made from pasta.
The only reason being: Healthy and less time consuming!
But I'm not so prone with mushroom tho. Well I have it sometimes in my meals but I'm adding it simply because my husband loves mushroom. Be it grey button, oyster and what not. Hence, on a one fine evening I'm thinking of having mushroom fettuccine for dinner. I browsed the recipes on the net and found various version of preparing the buttery cream; some people finely diced the mushroom while others blended it.
I chose to blend them (what's the purpose of having a blender if you are going into fuss by dicing them? Haha) Remember, less time consuming is a crucial factor in the kitchen when you are having a toddler who simply loves re-organizing stuffs in the kitchen cabinets. I'm serious. So these are the steps in making your own delectable creamy mushroom fettuccine.
The ingredients:
Fettuccine pasta (the amount depends on how many pax you're serving, I'm cooking for 3)
Shallot - 1 medium size, diced
Garlic - 2 clove, chopped
Wheat flour - 2 tablespoons
Grey button mushroom - diced. I'm not sure I'm using how many grams that day. I purchased the small pre-packet one at Cold Storage
Buttercup butter - 2 1/2 tablespoons
Dried oregano - 2 teaspoons
Beef sausages - 3 pieces, I'm using Ramly's black pepper sausages
Parsley - There's only kuchai in the fridge so belasahsaja..
Heavy cream - 150ml. I change it with evaporated milk since I have plenty of them on the shelf =D I also get myself a Campbell's mushroom cream with potato. Well just in case if the cream doesn'tbecoming as creamy as I wish. But it turned out just perfect!
* Contingency plan is crucial too when you're doing things for the first time. Hek
Directions:
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to boil. Add pasta and cook until aldente; drain
In a large saute pan melt the butter over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and stir until the juice started to evaporate
Add in the garlic, onion and stir until softened and put in the flour
Pour in the evaporated milk and bring to boil
Salt and pepper to taste
Cook, stirring occasionally until the sauce reduced by a third and becomes thicker.
Turn off the heat and let the sauce cool for few minutes and blend it
Return the blended sauce to the saute pan and add in the sausages and daunkuchai and the creamy sauce should be ready by then
Place fettuccine on plates and ladle even portions of sauce over top.
What a shocking news isn't it? I can see this well-famed Tabasco sauce in many restaurants that I have went to. They have it on every tables. If I'm not mistaken, I've never tried the Tabasco sauce (that usually served on the tables) since I'm not a spicy-prone food lover. Tho seriously I'm thinking of giving it a try for a few times and.. it's just chilies?? (well realizing that most people I know are so in love with the spiciness of the sauce) - typical human being. Yada yada..
And now Jakim tested it and it has been proved positive with oink oink's DNA.

Menurut Pengarah Bahagian Hab Halal Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (Jakim), Sazali Harun, mereka juga diminta melakukan proses samak dan mengemukakan bukti surat akuan samak daripada Jabatan Agama Islam Negeri masing-masing kepada Jakim.
"Jakim sebelum ini telah mengambil sampel produk tersebut dan keputusan Jabatan Kimia Malaysia mengesahkan terdapat DNA babi di dalamnya.
"Mereka juga dikehendaki untuk mengemukakan resit pembelian produk baru kepada pihak kami," katanya dalam satu kenyataan di sini hari ini.
Dalam kenyataan yang berasingan, beliau turut memberitahu, Sijil Pengesahan Halal Malaysia bagi Syarikat Lucky Food Processing Sdn. Bhd., ditarik balik berkuat kuasa serta-merta berikutan penemuan DNA babi dalam produk Chicken Burger Patties dan Chicken Taiwan Sausage keluarannya.
Penarikan sijil halal terhadap syarikat tersebut dilakukan berdasarkan keputusan mesyuarat Panel Pengesahan Halal Malaysia yang diadakan pada 22 April lalu.
Just done with discussion (since afternoon) with the team mates and suddenly I received this amusing email. Hoorey! Beloved hubby called me just now, he asked whether I wish to follow him jogging at FRIM since there's no futsal match today.
The answer would definitely be NO then.
I'm totally worn out and I need nutrition treatment sweet heart.
I'm having lunch with dearest hubby at KLCC just now. Initially I was planning to dine at the office cafe (the meehunsototersangatlahsedap!) but I need to get my new Quicksilver glasses re-fixed at England Optical so my hubby tagged along. It was school holiday so what can you really expect. I can easily park Mr Ride at P2 before this but not during school holidays; we crawled down to P4 and lucky us that we noticed a car reversing just when we make a left turn after the ram. Phew!
It's school holiday, and again KLCC was jam packed with Homo sapiens (I bet no tickets were left at Petrosains nor Aquaria that day). I can't stand to-have-to-face the never-ending queue at both food courts so I suggested to have a light lunch at Starbucks instead. Less crowds, less time consuming, healthy meals and we just love the open air environment - minus the cigars' smell!
Hubby was ordering meals when suddenly I noticed the American Express logo near the cash register machine. And the piece of paper stated:
Enjoy a complimentary beverage on us with your American Express Card
Hubby was more than excited when I told him that. And so he get his large sized cafe latte for FREE plus Dark Mocha for me! Don't you just love things for FREE? =p He just had nasigoreng during brunch and I'm not that hungry that time. My family in law was at home - definitely expecting a heavy family feast that day. So we chose to have a non heavy lunch.

You need to make a smart playlist.. in iTunes click on File, then New Smart Playlist. Where it says 'Artist', click the drop down menu and select 'date added'. In the next option select 'is in the last'...then finally choose the length of time you want the list to go back to...lets say 1 month. press ok and now you have a list of all the music you have added to iTunes in the last month.
It has been 3 months I haven't wore my wedding bracelet. That memorable gift from beloved hubby has broken into two pieces just about 1 month before we celebrated our second anniversary of blissfully living together this year. We went to one of Habib Jewel's store and they soldered the breaking joint but the same incident reoccurred just a few days later, at a different part of the bracelet. And my husband was the one who found it lying on the bath room's floor! Nasibbaik..
So I just left it in the jewelery box since then, I'm afraid the bracelet would break and fall again and I will be in total dismayed knowing the fact that I've lost the biggest reminiscent of a wedding present. Hubby did ask me few times whether I wish for a new one? And I answered NO. Isn't he's one lucky guy to have me as a wifey? Hehe. I don't really fancy jeweleries. I do admit being a women it's nice to have few shining stuffs on you fingers, ears, wrist etc. But it's not a mandatory tho. I would rather spend the money on home decorations, literally.
But last Saturday was a different scenario. We actually went to KLCC to find a new glasses for me but we end up eying the 916 Golden bracelet at Habib Jewels - The mid year promotion in ON now by the way. I really have to confess that memangkadang2rasatakselesabecause I already used to wearing bracelet, long before I'm getting married. But ahh.. Don'tsweat the small stuff lah. When Mr Man unexpectedly insisted me to choose which one I would like to have (as a replacement for the wedding bracelet), my heart stomped with joy.
Who ever doesn't like my statement here is an absolute green alien from Mars. Haha, joking.
And so we traded in the former bracelet and top up a few amount for that. Frankly speaking I don't really miss the wedding bracelet tho, since that was my initial plan to have a 916 Gold as the wedding bracelet - so that I may change it to the latestdesign anytime as I wish (standard la wanitapantaitimur, hikk). As for the wedding ring, a white gold ring (platinum is nice but too expensive) with few diamonds is good enough for me. It has no second value so I will keep it forever, with the exact shape and design and yes, the beautiful marriage memory.

But don't get me wrong. I'm not wearing those heavy bulky golden bracelet berbelasbelashiibuuuhingget ituuh. Just a small cutie one that suits perfectly a petite lady like me =) As for hubby, I thank you so much for the zillion times now. I don't really need this, well at this time. The monsoon has come to a halt. And dearest hubby can't stop thinking about Pulau Redang.
The sportsaholic husband repetitively suggested a 3D2N stay at Redang Island somewhere this month, before Ramadhan's coming (he's giving hints actually, so that I'll proceed with hotels, rooms, prices and transportation reviews and get him informed with all the information soon - That is what wifeys do best I guess).
But I can't seem to feel the exultant in me. There's one absolute reason for this - I've became a bit traumatic with the drowning incidents I read in the news these few months. And the latest one on the TV! The daddy suddenly lost grip of his daughters and he lost his lovely TWO daughters in front of his very own eyes! I can't imagine if I were in his shoe.. =(
I love clear blue beaches, colorful corals and friendly fishes, pure white sands, the soothing sea breeze and all. In fact my parents' home is just minutes away from the beach. Being near to the beach really makes me feels like home. We went to Pulau Land Tengah for our first honeymoon trip and we've fallen in love with islands since then (apart from Bali and Langkawi). And we always have this intention to visit more beautiful islands together.
I told him about this tiny yet distressful issue in my mind but he assures me calmly that nothing bad will happen if we take all precautions during snorkeling and swimming activities at the beach. But remember qada' & qadar is still there. We can do nothing with that. "Just try to be at yourself-best (as a Muslim) and leave other matters to Him".
He's saying that during pillow talk and yes the words had pacified my heart and mind since then. Kadang rasa termalu sendiri jugak, macam orang tak beriman je kan. Duk risau bende bukan2, sedangkan kita tahu kematian itu adalah pasti. Kullunafsinzaaaiqatul maut - Sesunggahnya yang hidup itu pasti akan merasai mati.
And so I browsed thru the scenic and breathtaking Redang pictures taken from hubby's trip with his uni colleagues in 2008 (during bachelor years) in order to gain more and more positive vibes regarding the next island trip - Credit to Encik Abid for the wonderful pictures!
Magnificent isn't it. Subhanallah..
