The best tauhu bakar I have ever had in my whole life..

I had this sinfully appetizing tauhu bakar at Jombali weeks back.
I bet that was the best I have ever had, like seriously.
Tauhu bakar is a must grab whenever I visited bazar Ramadhan all these years.
Apart from tauhu sumbat!
But this one at Jombali defeated each and everyone of them.
The tauhu was super crispy, the heavenly nut was growing me nuts.
And that thick black sauce or gravy or whatever it was, just complemented each other.

Feels like having another one today.

Off to meetings. Ah 11.10 already!

My Bag Spa. My first attempt for handbag cleaning services.

I have a favorite handbag. Which is a purple Coach. The charming husband bought it for me at Katy Mills during our trip to Houston last year (ahhh rindunya shopping like mad! Remember this.. Houston Trip) Why it turned to be my favorite? I just fell in love when I first saw it on the new arrival desk at the outlet entrance. It has 2 types of handle so it may be treated as a hobo or tote or what ever that please me. The only drawback is, it has fabric material. Senang kotor (I usually prefered leather bags than fabric. Easy cleaning, long lasting).

Me being a cleanaholic, I've tried my very best to take a good care of the bag. Until one day I went to dinner with husband's family and somebody took my bag to give space for Faheem. And.. Yeah. Things happened. Enough said. I told my husband that I wish to get the bag cleaned and he asked me to make a survey for the service. The nearest place would be at My Bag Spa. Initially I planned to send the said bag to the branch at One Utama. But the husband wanted to go to Mid Valley that weekend. Luckily My Bag Spa just opened another branch at The Gardens!

This is the bag. Being hooked by the handbag holder.
Hubby is the one who bought me the ruby red sparkling holder. Sweetness!

We're having trouble finding the outlet at The Gardens Mall. We searched at the directory in the mall itself but to no avail. Then we browsed the website and called the place yet again it was forever engaged. I called the other branch and let them informed about this. We went to Maxis centre tanya pasal iPhone5 kejap then I received a phone call from My Bag Spa The Garden's branch. The outlet (or rather I call it the counter) is located at P1 - by using the elevator at CIMB.

He checked the bag in and out and he also measured the length and width. The service price was RM280. Okla tu compare to the price of the bag minus the 1 year plus of depreciation. I'll be getting the bag in 2 weeks time. That Chinese from China informed me that oil marks will remain even after the servicing. Ada la dua calit minyak dek pergi dinner haritu. Takpela.. Lets think positive. It is the mark of love, like stretch mark. Hehe. Hopefully I'll be getting the bag in a tip top condition soon!

Breakfast at BreadTies, Taman Melawati

Last weekend-breakfast before the charming husband is working abroad once again.
BreadTies had been featured in Jalan Jalan Cari Makan a week before that. I'm watching it without the husband company (he's the biggest fan of JJCM) as the sportsman was busy with futsal tournament that Sunday. I texted him right away when I noticed BreadTies was my kind of eatery (I love savouries and pastries!) And also knowing that the next weekend will be his last, so I'm not into cooking, not at all. He replied OK at that instant. Yeay!
Darling Amanda. Geramnya!

We had the simple breakfast meal. Wholemeal toasted bread with scramble eggs and soup in artisan bread (I've had the same thing at Espressoup years back. But the bread here is bigger and sedap-er). Faheem ate almost half of the soup and bread. Until it was almost 11am and hubby told me that he needs heavier brunch since we are planning for more activities later that day. So I ordered penne carbonara. Oklaaa.. Not bad. After all the food is ok (That's all I can say since we went there for breakfast. The food is more or less the same if I were to make it myself) Haha.
But I really love the interior design. It looks spacious, clean and classy.
With thick wooden chair and tables. Nice!

Kesabaran Mew Choo buka hati saya - Lee Chong Wei

And this suddenly reminds me of the husband. I once asked him why did he choose me in the first place? I knew he got selection of girls during the days we were still in the progress of knowing each other. Ramai lagi yang cantik, yang outspoken, yang bekerjaya, yang kaya, yang muslimah, yang sama2 satu negeri dengan nya etc. And he replied, I was the chosen one because I have the most patience amongst all. For each troublesome issues we faced I just cried and things will get well soon after that (little that he knew I was deeply sadden with every incidents that happened). That crying and being extremely patient last for numerous times until I decided to stop crying and started to believe that I should be heading on a different path. And that was the biggest turning point for him. He suddenly realized that he just can't live without me; being his loyal back bone at all times. To cut a long story short, he admitted he was wrong, he promised to be good and the apologizing session soon after that followed with a (never expected) marriage proposal, that had taken place beside a lake, under a tree. Heee..

Remember the quote?

Patience is key.
If you love something, let it go.
If it comes back to you.
Then it's yours forever.

And that is so true. Oh, congratulations LCW!

Top Pregnancy Apps for iPhone users

Faheem was playing with my phone when suddenly he left this page for mama and running towards the fridge to get his Vitagen. I just smiled looking at these apps. Ohh.. That special 9 months I spent looking vigorously to every apps once I laid my back on my bed every single day. To be reading the tiny buds week to week development and imagining how does the growth takes part in reality.. That is beyond any enchanting words one might find in a dictionary.

Come quick dear weekend.
I need another quality days with the kids.

The Cabin Wangsa Melawati (Food Review)

We have been here twice. The first time was the day after it has been featured for the first time in Jalan Jalan Cari Makan TV3. Just realized that The Cabin is situated nearby the every day home-office route so we decided to give it a try. Kalau jauh tak da kerja la nak singgah lepas penat2 balik kerja kan. We were quite surprised with the ad hoc customers they were receiving that day. The power of televisyen! Fuh..

The entrance

There's a staircase for those who wish to dine on top of the cabin
(yes, the kitchen is in the cabin).

There's a futsal court beside the eatery. Hubby loves this spot of course. There were kids playing barefooted and the husband started story-telling how cool his kiddy life was back then. Main bola kaki ayam best gile feel habes syok gaban bla bla..

Spaghetti bolognaise yang tak pedas. Faheem loves it. But we didn't really fancy that. Biasa2 aja.. Mama buat lagi sedap, kata suami saya. That huge sausage was prepared by the staffs themselves. Banyak Faheem makan. So I considered sedap la tu. The chicken chop, I always preferred a griiled one rather than a deep fried. But they didn't serve a grilled one. Boleh laa.. Tapi gravy sikit sangat and pekat sangat. I know the chicken has been deep fried, but it seemed too oily for me. It wouldn't turn out that greasy if they tossed it longer time I guess. No?

Hubby's beef burger. According to him the beef patty was nice and tender and thick. He was full all night by having that! Huhu. Anyhow I wish they can replace the potato chips with fun fries. Sebab takde feel makan burger with potato chips. Lain lah kalau chips kat O'Briens. Yang tu sedap! In a nutshell, the food is ok and we gonna visit this place again. Why? Because of the location, the cleanliness, the price and not so bad selection of foods.
