Avillion Port Dickson - The Unique aVispa

And now, how does this picture amazes you once again.. =)

Frankly speaking only now I finally managed to realize; why on earth have I chosen Avillion PD for the babymoon trip - it's because of this round-y turquoise settee out facing the open sea! I have stumbled upon this mesmerize picture few many times since years back but I don't have any idea where the place is actually located. I once asked a blogger who put up the same picture but she never reply me. I don't blame her tho, maybe she had mis-looked my comment. Until one day I finally revealed the real whereabouts..

Well.. It is situated at aVispa in Avillion PD itself.
Since then I have put Avillion PD on top of the future-vacation list. Hehe

Beloved hubby and Faheem, on our way to the spa center..

This is the place!

We went into the oh-so-lovely-lavender-scented spa center and browsed through the spa packages. The husband insisted me on pampering myself there but surprisingly, I said NO? Like seriously. Ntahla.. Berat hati pulak nak biarkan Faheem dengan papa nye. It's a family trip, so I think we should enjoy the trip as a WE. Moreover I'm pregnant at 30th or 31st week that time and I don't think I really need it. Salah massage nanti.. Nauzubillah! Papa urut pun dah cukup sedap sangat dah.. =D Thanks hubby!

aVispa. Soothing kan the interior..

Precious guys in momma's life!

We sat there enjoying the sea breeze and the scenic ocean view until sunset.. Subhanallah..

On our way back to KL Faheem suddenly fell asleep earlier than usual. Penat sangat agaknye.. Since it was still early, raining some more, hero pulak dah tido.. hubby decided to have a cup of coffee before we reach home. He was thinking of making an exit to Putrajaya but if I'm not mistaken, there was no coffee houses (that is located outside the shopping malls) in Putrajaya. Dear husband is never keen of shopping complexes, selame ni pun kami pergi sebab the wifey yang ajak =D Luckily there's Starbucks just nearby our house. Yang paling dekat tu lah yang senang lupa kan =p Tho it's in a shopping mall, but it's actually situated at the outer side of the mall. Parking, jalan, sampai. So he agreed. Makan sikit, minum sikit, borak sikit, Faheem pun bangun.. Terus balik rumah sebab sesi penat melayan anak tersayang akan bermula sekali lagi..

After all, the vacation was nice and memorable. Like always!

Volkswagen Jetta Test Drive

How does the VW emblem amazes you? Woohoo..

Went to the Volkswagen showroom at Ampang few weeks back. Ever since I got pregnant for the second time, the husband apparently shows a raising interest with bigger cars. Our current ride is still performing well, it's just the size that matters I guess. Pakai Swift berdua pun rasa kecik. Pakai City bertiga pun rasa kecik. Taktaula.. Sentiasa penuh, sendat kereta kami. Kalau balik kampung memang takde orang lain boleh tumpang ok. Full! Huhu. He was thinking of MPV but I'm not so into that. Too big.. Hari2 nak drive MPV pergi office? Err.. Not me. I would prefer SUV instead. Sangat sesuai nak balik kampung kami yang nun jauh itu, utara tanah air dan juga pantai timur semenanjung Malaysia.

Jetta seems nice. But it's a good-guy car's I reckon. Too simple. Too comel. Hehhe. Small sedan, besar sikit je dari City. Passat CC would be everyone's dream but the OTR price boleh bikin pusing! Hari2 mau makan roti dengan telur sajo. He was planning to ram the car sesuka hati on Akleh. Unfortunately Jalan Ampang was terribly jammed that day. Tak tau pukul berapa bole sampai Akleh so he switched to Jalan Damai. Waaaahhh.. smoothnye handling! (Super charge turbo charge whatever..) And the sound proofing was amazingly superb. The seating looks biasa2 je but way comfortable than City, ala2 bucket seat gitu. Ada aircond kat belakang! Hehehe.. Takperlu la susah payah adjust aircond supaya hala ke belakang. With 6 airbags some more (or 8 if you count it by 2 on the sides, talking about safety!). Five years warranty? Nicee.. First servicing at 15k? Double nice..

Hmm.. But I think we should concentrate on the second baby first lah.
Proper financial planning is crucial when you have a growing family.
And oh the new home that will be ready in a year! Money money money.. Come to me =(
Kene postpone lagi lah cita2 untuk menjadi suri rumah tangga sepenuh masa.. Sobs

Sesaat Kau Datang

Bravo Kak Ram! Eh.. Kak Ramlah.. =p

Tengok video clip cantek ni teringat pulak kisah lama2 dulu kan.. Both of us had to leave someones so that we can be together. It's not that we are cheating or what so ever, but I believe everyone in this world ought to choose a soul mate who has the strongest chemistry bond with you right? This is fate, the greatest destiny created by the Almighty. Kepada adik2 di luar sana, jangan lah frust menonggeng bila putus cinta ya? Percayalah, setiap yang berlaku pasti ada hikmahnya. It's just that you need one hell lot of patience.. Before you even realize, "There is always beautiful rainbows after the heavy rain (or thunder storm etc)".

Akak dan abang dah experience semua ni.. Ecehh.. =D
And we seriously glad it happened.
Because that unfortunate event has turned us into what we are nowadays..
Alhamdulillah.. =)

Avillion Port Dickson - Part 2

The continuation of the last babymoon trip. Tho I'm on medical leave for 2 weeks now, I'm so not into typing even an entry. Tapi bile teringatkan draft Avillion PD ni and it's already Friday now (the last day of my sick leave) I think I should be finishing this thing once and for all. Da masuk keje nanti entah zaman bile baru dapat publish entry ni agaknye. Hoho..

The next morning, we went to the Crow's Nest for buffet breakfast.
Cheeky tak anak teruna saya yang banyak cakap ni?
Oh.. Rindu pulak abg Faheem kat school! Lagi 2 jam mama jemput hokeh..

Makanan sume sedap. Tapi yang terpaling sedap adalah roti canai!

Done with yummy breakfast we went brisk walk round the lovely resort..

Singgah Kid's Cabin dan biarkan Faheem main sampai penat. Err.. Pernah ke Faheem penat main? Never! Huhu.. This time jugak papa busy call Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort untuk cancel our room. Actually we've planned weeks earlier for a stay at Kuantan the coming weekend sebab nak attend his uni mate, uncle ewae punye wedding ceremony. Tapi lepas melihatkan mama Faheem yang setiap masa exhausted aje, so papa decided to cancel the trip. Kesian kat mama katenye. Huhu..

Papa, Faheem with the foot reflexology board. The jogging trail sangat syok, merely because the resort was beautifully designed and decorated and there was plenty of mesmerizing look out points! Oh see the right picture in the collage?

"Ibarat melepaskan BATUK di tangga" Remember that issue? Hehe. Kawan2, yang encik suami saya pegang itulah die BATOK sebenarnye. Dan perumpamaan yang sebenarnya ialah melepaskan batok di tangga. Disebabkan kesalahan orang dulu2 translate jawi to rumi, so mati2 kita ingat kan BATUK is actually the right thing, I mean coughing. Kalau nak batuk kat tangga batuk je laahh kan.. Kekekke..

This is one of my fav look out point! Dengan angin sepoi2 bahasa.. Dengan view yang super manarik itu. Dengan Faheem pun behave je sebab mama da bawak siap2 Cadbury Zip and plain water die. Mama papa pun boleh discuss macam2 dengan tenang. Heaven nye that moment.. =)

Speechless kan? The view was so.. beyond words..

Niceeeeeeeeeee....

Sebelum balik bilik singgah Pet Farm kejap. Excited habes anakanda yang sorang tu..

Da masuk petang tetiba rasa lapar..
Call Pizza Hut Delivery dan makan lah kami tiga beranak kat verandah bilik tu..

Then bawak Faheem beriadah kat tepi pantai. Initially they were playing on the beach. Tapi anakanda tu lagi excited tendang pasir2 pantai sampai masuk mata. Papa pulak tak larat dah kejap2 nak bawak pegi paip air so main kat atas rumput was the second best option. Faheem macam biasa kalau dah main lencun habes satu badan.. Tak nak balik pulak tu. Skali mama trick nak pergi pool baru die nak ikut. Heheh..

As for dinner, we decided to have it in-room. Sebab mama papa malas nak bersiap ape lagi berjalan ke Crow's Nest even tho restaurant tersebut hanya berapa langkah je pun dari bilik =p

Ok dah. Esok sambung the last entry pulak!

Restoran Intai-Intai. Sedap ke?

I believe many of us have heard and even have went to the renowned Intai-Intai Restaurant kan? If I'm not mistaken this place has received impressive feedbacks from the customers in 2010. Along with Restoran Istana Bambu yang tengah meletop jugak time tu. Both places are located just nearby each other - in front of MRR2 at Hulu Klang just before Ampang.

Last Friday we fetched Faheem from school and suddenly both of us were pretty hungry and we decided to dine in at Istana Bambu, alang2 the husband memang driving thru MRR2 that day. But Istana Bambu seemed so dull, quiet and.. err. We were a bit confused, bukak ke tutup? Before this da banyak kali we all smpai sane around 6pm macam tu lah keadaan nye. Pastu ape yang boleh di order tu very limited. Kalau kedai bukak malam je, just bagitau la kedai only opens 8pm and above ke kan? So malas nak hadapi perkara yang sama, we all went straight for Intai-Intai.

Before this asyik order the super spicy Siakap Harimau Menangis je. Papa jela yang enjoy pun. Cos I'm not into spicy foods. So this time we tried Siakap Tiga Rasa. Hmmm.. Ikan tu fresh, rangup sangat and acceptably big, as always. Tapi takde rase masam pun? Maybe that was their very own recipe of tiga rasa. Lain tempat lain lah rasanya kan. Macam last time we all order siakap tiga rasa kat Langkawi. Siakap tu dah penuh hitam dengan kicap! Baiklah letak nama siakap masak kicap je kan? Hehehe. You may click here to witness the real Siakap Hitam =p

Butter prawn? Niceeeeeeeeeeeee!

Vege soup pun niceeeee....

But the kerabu mango wasn't that nice. A bit tasteless.

Papa Faheem beriya nak pujuk Faheem to try the butter prawn.
Tho the mommy knows he'll definitely says NO.
Susah betul nak bagi anakanda tu makan seafood. Even chicken pun susah..
Kalau sayur tu laju jek dia makan. Sampai bile tah anak mama ni nak jadik vegetarian. Hoho

Both of them out facing the man made lake.

All in all I would recommend this place to those who wish to have a casual tropical dining in an outstandingly serene environment. As years went by, I really have to say that I've noticed this place has undergone the normal wear and tear at few parts of the restaurant. But the quality of the food has remain the same and the waiters have been as friendly as ever. Oh the total bill was RM115 (with orange and carrot juice). I think it was acceptably reasonable, considering the big portion of each meals. Don't you?

Third wedding anniversary. Today!

Time flies, and today we are celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary?

Alhamdulillah.. 3 tahun anak nak masuk 2 dah =) The solemnization took place on the same date as his birth date. So every March of the year is a double celebration for him. Hehe. There's not much of celebration for this year as I'm already at the end of the 3rd trimester now. Mama Faheem sangat lah penat, letih, mengah dan sebagainya ok. Moreover I'm on medical leave since yesterday. The gyne advised me for a 2-weeks leave, off the office! Luckily not to be bedridden at the hospital. Huhu. I shall blog about that in the next entry.

I've asked the husband few weeks back..
Wifey: Yang.. u know my condition now kan..? I barely do anything now. Badan penat, house helper takde, keje menimbun, faheem superactive bla bla.. I'm sorry, I don't think I can do much for your upcoming birthday and our anniversary.. What do u want? Just tell me..
Hubby: Scirocco satu!
Ok. No need to elaborate more on what actually happened after I received the answer. Haihhh.. I'm totally sure that he understands me very well and so he will never expected anything from me this year. But I promised him, jika nyawa masih dikandung badan there will be a double celebration awaiting next year! =D He smiled (and agreed of course).

Surprisingly, he was the one who came up with err.. surprise on our special day! It started with a phone call last night from a stranger lady asking me whether I'm at home as there will be a 'special' delivery from Kelana Jaya that will be reaching my doorstep in half an hour's time. I was starlet since courier services mane ada deliver parcel malam2 hari. Until the delivery boy came and wohooo!

A huge bouquet of 12 blooming red roses for me?! "Happy anniversary sayang.." The charming husband said. Followed with hugs and kisses etc. I was in shocked, well for the first few minutes la. My husband has never keen of fresh flowers. Buang duit la, nanti bunga mati la - few of his fav phrases when it comes to fresh flowers. But this time? He was the one who chose it! Hehe. I guess, times flies and people do change. Right? =)

And this morning still, there's not much of a celebration. We just had a normal breakfast together just before he headed to the office. And now I'm typing the anecdote of the 3rd wedding anniversary while waiting for him to be back at home. I've been surrounded with guilt actually. Well.. I didn't manage to get anything for him this year. I just don't have the right time to really think about this, tapi baby stuff bole pulak fikir itu ini kan. Oh teruknya saya!

Ok. Let's stop typing and started surfing on where to treat him super nice lunch this weekend.

Buat husband tersayang, I wish to thank you for every single thing that you've done for me, for Faheem, for the lil one and for the family. You're just the best ever guy I have ever met in my whole life. Terima kasih jugak diatas segala kesabaran yang telah anda tempuhi sepanjang bersama2 dengan saya. I know you are the right one for me because you have the most patience compared to others out there! Hehe. I love you more and more munchkin.. Semoga hubungan kita akan sentiasa utuh dengan rahmat Ilahi dan keluarga kita yang semakin berkembang ini akan sentiasa dipenuhi dengan barakah juga sentiasa. Aminnnnnnn...

Finally found. Super juicy burger Malaysia at Said Ali!

Da lama teringin sangat burger Malaysia yang super juicy. Before this there was a stall at our neighborhood. Memang terbaik lah burger die. Sedap! Kalau mintak extra sayur, tak muat nak ngaappp sekali gus burger tu, kene habiskan half of the vege first baru dapat makan the whole thing. And they were serving it with japanese cucumber pulak tu. Krup krap krup krap.. Yum! But I noticed early this year owner kedai burger tu (husband & wife) da outsource gerai mereka. Untung da banyak sangat agaknye. Atau pun dah tak larat sebab both of them are working, I guess la. Cos kedai only opens at 6pm onwards, start meniaga pun pakai baju ofis dengan muka yang agak keletihan plus they're driving Toyota Wish. Since the outsource thingy, burger mereka sudah tidak sedap seperti dahulu lagi.. =(

But not anymore. I've found a place with super juicy burger that I've been longing for so long! Hehe. On Saturday we went out for supper. Saje jalan2 cari makan sambil ambil angin kat luar while discussing few family matters. Kalau kat rumah kadang tak boleh concentrate sebab ada TV and that lil boy who will try his utmost best to interrupt his parent's conversation every now and then. Kat luar bole distract sikit anakanda tu. Hehe. We stopped by Said Ali Restaurant at Sri Rampai, one of our fav weekend spot lah. Terperasan ada menu baru, burger! So I ordered burger ayam special satu. Sedappppppppppppp! Juicy habes.. And it's only RM3.80

Lepas ni mengidam lagi da tau tempat nak carik!

Avillion Port Dickson - Part 1

Our last babymoon trip while expecting the cutie lil extension..

Why Avillion? Err.. Nothing specific tho. Initially we have planned months back for a vacation at Universal Studios Singapore. Memang excited habes lah. Da buat passport Faheem siap2 dah, da call Hard Rock Hotel, da survey ticket flight and all. But we have to cancel it at the very last minute since my condition wasn't that good. I mean for the excessive walking activity? Hubby pulak risau dengan anakanda Faheem yang super-active itu. He's totally worn out just by handling Faheem during groceries shopping, seriously. So we decided to spent the quality family outing nearby KL and Port Dickson came to mind due to the distance plus wide selectivity of hotels.

As I've mentioned in the previous entry; Trip to PD - The Intro - We arrived at the hotel quite early and Faheem hasn't had his lunch yet. So we went to the hotel's restaurant, to get him some food. We tried spaghetti bolognaise and some fresh fruits. They were yummy, enough said.

There was a live gamelan musical when we arrived. Rasa macam nak ambik scroll dari Sultan Azlan Shah pulak time graduation dolu2. Heheh. The restaurant, Crow's Nest is located just beside the swimming pool and you can imagine how hard it was - to get Faheem ate his food! Asyik nak masuk pool jeeeee.. Adoyai..

We spotted an Art Space on our way to the restaurant from the lobby..

We brought Faheem to the playground just before we got in the room.
Dengan pajama nye, dengan tak mandi nye. Ciannn anak mama. Heheh..
Btw, the playground kat Thistle lagi besar and best kut.. =D

Oh the idyllic entrance! Beautiful turquoise sign board with green background! Just love it..
FYI Avillion PD is not the same as Avillion Admiral Cove. Go figure at TripAdvisor =)

Again, the soothing greenish view from the pathway to our room.
I have chosen the garden view room and I'll never regret it!
It turned to be just a walking distance to the pool, the restaurant and the lobby =)
It helps me panting less, definitely..

The wading pool, perfect view from our verandah!

The king size bed with fluffy pillows! That was the highest bed I have ever met in my life I guess. Memang hanging je kaki bile duduk atas katil tu. Bile turun pulak mesti sakit sikit perut because of the falling impact from the bed. Huhu. Nak naik pun sakit sikit sebab lil one da besar..

Katil tinggi sangat or me myself yang tak berapa nak tinggi? Err.. Whatever..

The TV got few sport channels. Great! - for him lahhh..

The spacious wash room area.. Separated with tub, toilet and shower room.
Oh the toiletries kit biasa2 je, just like Thistle. Lucky that I always bring our own!

The water pressure was acceptably high, bagos!

"Pa jom pegi pool pa! Pa jom pegi pool pa!"

And so, around 4.30pm we decided to bring Faheem to the wading pool. The pool was great, but frankly speaking I would prefer the wading pool and slide at Thistle more. A bit more spacious and family-friendly kut. For me la. There are 3 swimming pools at Avillion; the wading pool, the slightly deeper pool (with jacuzzi) just beside the wading pool and an adult pool that is quite afar from this area.

The precious boys were having lots of fun in the pool! =)

While mama? She was busy chit chatting with a Chinese auntie. She was very warm and we talked about so many stuff especially kids related, working life and masalah maid, babysitter, maid, babysitter, maid, babysitter.. The never-ending nightmare of a working mommy? Haih!

Dari dalam pantang sampai la da besa panjang, suka sangat main air. Oh Faheem!

Done with the swimming session, we went to have dinner at the Crow's Nest again. Papa da bagitau siap2 this time around we will be having meals only at the hotel. Tak larat dah nak survey2 macam time pergi Thistle last year. Mesti full house punye mane2 restaurant pun because of the long public holiday - Thaipusam + Maulid Nabi. We wished to have a seat at the outdoor area, more relaxing while enjoying the sea breeze kan.. Tapi risau nanti Faheem selsema ke apa, so stay kat dalam je lah..

Don't you see how much the parents have to compromise for the benefit of their kids?
So people, berbaktilah kepada ibu bapa anda ok! I'm serious.. =)

We ordered 2 meals first just to see how big the portion would be, whether it's Asian or Western. And it came in huge portion! Nasi ayam & char kuew teaw. Sedap pulak tu!!

Gendang gendut tali kecapi, kenyang perut suka hati.. Alhamdulillah.. Done with scrumptious dinner we went round the PD town and then stopped by Billion hypermarket to get some mineral water, Yakult and jajan2 yang lain. Lepas tu balik Avillion lepak2 kejap tengok TV dan ZZZzzzz..

Stay tune for the second part of this entry as more delightful pictures of Avillion are coming!

Ye ye je.. Haha
